Welcome back to school!  I am so excited to get the new 23/24 school year underway.   This is an exciting year to be a Buffalo and I am ready to embrace some new adventures this year at the Buffalo Ridge campus.  This year I will be teaching 6th grade ELA and 6th grade World History, leaving my 8th grade roots behind. This is my 15th year with The Villages Charter School and looks to be the most amazing one yet!   I am a lover of reading and writing so this will be such a fun opportunity and a great time merging these subjects together in the class room.  

Please help your child be prepared for school by making sure they have all their supplies.  I have many that are borrowing from me until they get their own.  Supply lists are posted on the schools website.   They will need a folder, paper, pencils, pens, highlighters, and wired headphones for both ELA and World History daily.   

Don't forget that Open House is set for Thursday 8/31 from 6:00-7:30.  You will start in your child's homeroom class.  Hope to see you all there!
